Happy old year
Opera in two acts, with music and libretto by Tim Rescala, based on a novel by Marcelo Rubens Paiva. Composed in 2025 by commission from the Ouro Preto Orchestra, it premiered that same year on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro and was performed again at the Palácio das Artes in Belo Horizonte. Ouro Preto Orchestra, conducted by Rodrigo Toffolo.
